Every holiday season, hundreds of thousands of Treasure Valley residents set out to discover the brightest and most unforgettable holiday displays. Boise Christmas Lights app and website maps are the go-to source for up-to-date holiday information, attracting massive seasonal traffic and local media coverage. Our combined platforms reach more than 450,000 annual visitors. News organizations and families have relied on us for over 12 years.
This year, we are going all in and creating two unforgettable experiences. Treasure Valley Holiday Decoration Contest and Boise Christmas Lights Official Holiday Tour. Most professional tour companies utilize the Boise Christmas Lights maps to create their tours. So, we thought about why not create our own and while we are at it do a contest.
Through Facebook, Instagram and TikTok our content connects with residents who follow holiday events. With visibility across every major local media outlet your brand will become part of one of the most trusted and community-driven events.

We will choose one winner based on community votes in each of the following categories.
- Best Use of Lights / Audio / Video
This award celebrates the display that takes holiday magic to the next level through an unforgettable blend of light, sound, and visual storytelling. Synchronized light shows, musical moments, projected scenes and creative video elements. The home that uses technology to create a full holiday experience.
- Most Creative / Original Theme / Classic
This award recognizes the display that shows creativity and are truly one of a kind. Whether through an imaginative concept, a clever twist to tradition, or a flawlessly executed theme. This category honors the home that brings its vision to life in a way that feels fresh and memorable.
- Most Interactive
This award celebrates the display that brings guests into the magic. Whether through walk-through elements, photo ops, buttons to push, characters to meet, or playful surprises that encourage people to explore. This category honors the home that turns Christmas decorations into a full hands-on experience.
Boise Christmas Lights Official Holiday Tours
Step aboard our luxury holiday bus for a night filled with laughter and the Treasure Valley’s most stunning displays. Each tour will be hosted by William with Boise Christmas Lights and the one-and-only Boise Grinch.
These tours will attract news attention and sponsors will have high-value exposure through signage, onboard mentions, curated photo opportunities, and meaningful guest interactions.
We are currently booking dates with local organizations for fundraising. These dates are filling up fast. Your sponsorship will go towards the operating cost and contest prize money. Additionally, 5% of all bus tour ticket sales will be going into the prize pot.

Meridian Christmas Winter Lights Parade
We like to have fun, and we have created a marketing campaign that would allow us to do that. In addition to the tour and contest, we are participating in the Meridian Christmas Winter Lights Parade on Friday, December 5. Propy Props will be transforming their ultra stretch limousine into the Grinchmobile. The first business to claim the Jack Skellington gets two seats and Jolly Old Saint Nicholas will receive four seats inside the Grinchmobile. You will join us as we ride in the parade. We also can have people walk alongside us in the parade as spotters and you can invite these individuals to assist us.
If you want your brand in the holiday spotlight, we are the group to make that happen. We need to confirm by December 1 so we can include your name on the custom parade signage for the limousine. Claim your spot and join us in the parade. It’s going to be a wild ride and we will be at the center of all the holiday media attention.
